I had a deeply disappointing experience with HAVEN Center when I reached out for help as a victim of domestic violence. My husband was arrested, and the following day, a caseworker named Ashley contacted me and scheduled a meeting. I was 8 months pregnant and a stay-at-home mom to 4 children, with no access to my husband’s finances. Have been only able to get ahold of someone once—even though I was told they have someone on call to answer messages and calls. Left several messages unable contact anyone, but once. Needing resources and so far non have been provided, not even a phone call.

I will be completely honest, I’m a close personal friend of one of your caseworkers. So, I’m really puzzled by the negative reviews I see on here, although they are eclipsed by the overwhelmingly positive reviews. I’ve witness the care, dedication and passion that my friend exhibits every day. She loves the work she does, and in my opinion gives of herself above and beyond to help her clients. She leaves her own family, day or night, holidays and weekends, without complaint, to take care of others. I’ve seen it over and over... read more
