I was in the psych ward last week and after 3 days of me begging, they told me that pain was not a reason to need a mobility aid. my chronic fatigue and pain accompanied by fainting spells "aren't enough" to need an aid, even if I provide it myself from home. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I Don't even know where to begin, but here goes. The nurses and staff would routinely just flat out ignore patients when they would need something. There was a lady in there in a wheelchair who also had cataracts so bad she couldn't see - they wouldn't help orientate her but would get upset when other patients tried to help her. When she would press the call light in the middle of the night when she needed to use the restroom - they would yell at her - and then blame HER for her... read more

My wife had her wheel taken any my wife had her bed urinated on she's been threatened and the staff does nothing if you ever have to have a loved one good to know an institution do not pick this one
