My 19 year old son was in this place last week. Thank God he has moved on to a residential program that is much, much better. I will share what he wrote in his journal about this place, "This place is awful. It is understaffed. They stripped my room down 3 times because they thought I was smoking a vape or weed. They threatened to give me a shot if I didn't take their meds. The groups - they just give you papers. The staff is unfriendly, cuss and make fun of patients w/ one another. I was in haven for a week and was discharged today.. for one thing I spoke with a doctor/psychiatrist for a total of 20 minutes maybe. And lonely therapy was coloring and bingo two times a day for a hour total rest of the day was watching tv and walking aimless up and down the corridors. And only high point was snacks couple of times a day. I'm homeless and almost committed suicide twice before I came here they kicked me out on to the streets with a day bus pass and few snacks. This place is absolutely horrible. My mother who has dementia was sent here. We live 2 hours away. First of all they do not treat dementia. The social worker Tameka and her supervisor Vee are horrible. My mother needs to be in a nursing facility. They refused to assist with this. My mom is home with me now (which she needs to be in a facility) they refuse to send the documents needed to place my mom. They will not release them to us the doctor or my moms in home providers. They are stopping her from getting the care she need... read more

DO NOT place your love one in this place. The worse of worse. No help ..they push meds and 3, 30 mins of group each day. No therapy, no dr intervention.Ridiculous no help. .coloring that's all they do. In group,if you participate your shamed on. And the hostel environment isn't right for all these patients. When your 72 hrs are up they threaten to court order you, to make them stay longer. Pls beware. This place needs to close there doors. And intake is rude!!
