My dad is a newer resident here, and he is very happy! I visit him often and the staff is extremely friendly. He has nothing but positive words to say about Haven, and I have peace of mind knowing he is a good, safe place.
My mom has been at Haven 4 years and it’s fine as far as assisted living goes. They do more or less what should be done but nothing above or beyond. They are short staffed and I don’t really think they have conversations with her or help her with anything outside the scope of the basics. She has asked for someone to walked the hallway with her (which would take maybe 10 minutes) but I don’t think anyone has. Kind, caring and attentive staff. The apartments are large. Communication with families during the covid pandemic has been constant and residents have been kept safe and happy.
Recent visit with residents for Halloween party. Facility appeared clean and well maintained
I would highly recommend Bloom at Lakewood! Even though my mom was placed during Covid, and we couldn’t go inside to see where she’d be staying, I know she loved being there! She was so happy there! Katelyn B was just amazing! She made sure I got pics, videos and FaceTime with my mom. Mom had dementia so she couldn’t use a phone so this was all very much appreciated.
