The food is the star. Everything on the menu is great and is packed full of flavor. The black beans and rice are seasoned and salted perfectly...I love how good they are and that they aren't an after thought. My favorite dish is the masita de puerco. It is so perfect and consistent. All of the specialties and the sandwiches are excellent.
Unfortunately like just about ALL restaurants, they have excuses for poor service. The wait staff blames the printer machine or the expeditor. The manager blames the flow of customers or the lack of coordination in the kitchen. But the one affected is the "paying" customer. The customer doesn't care what staff issues you are having or what technical difficulties you are experiencing. A great place to enjoy Cuban cuisine serving generous portions of well seasoned and delicious classic recipes like Arroz con Pollo, Cuban Sandwich and many others. Service is very friendly and helpful. A good choice to visit if you like tropical flavors. Highly recommended!
