Get your engine fixed. I had the engine in my Bronco rebuilt. The did a good job and finished it on time. I ha the transmission redone at they same time. They sent it over to a shop for me.
Had them build a 383 many years ago. Picked it up and there were different heads on the engine. My Heads were STOLEN. (I have Pictures of the old ones) some other heads were stuck on my block. The manager said, "Well, What to you expect me to do, I can't do anything." Take your money and find a better HONEST company.
Don't not buy parts from this place...BUYER BEWARE. They do not honor warranties. Management is rude.
I am a pro mechanic. These idiots charged me 800 bucks for a valve job and after installing the engine I had a dead miss. Why? Leaking intake valves. I have had my issues before but I am done with them.
Havana Machine Shop knows there stuff!!! And it get's done right the first time. I've taken 4 engine blocks and 6 cylinder heads to Havana Machine shop in the last 3 years and had great results each time. Jason is very knowledgeable and their prices are fair. I TRUST them which is the most important thing I can say.
Yeah, you are gonna wait a while for this shop to get their work done, I waited almost 4 weeks for the block to get machined, rods rebuilt and crank ground, which was really inconvenient seeing as it was for my daily driver. But the quality of their work was impeccable, I measured everything as soon as I got home and it was spot on! the block was clean, I bought some block scrubbing brushes expecting it to be sirty when it got back, not a metal shaving or speck of dirt to be found.
