Originally visited The Tapped Apple and some of the Hauser truffles were offered as a pairing with the wines/ciders. The truffles we tried were sooo good that we looked up the store and made the quick trip down the road before they closed. So far, these are the closest to the rich and creamy European, aka real actual chocolate, that I have tried. And they have a ton of flavors! I highly recommend!!!
We came to Hauser for a tour with the Retailers Confectionary International. Hauser has a very nice public tour window, history room and retail space. Thank you for letting us get a look behind the scenes! Delicious chocolates!
Dunno why we didn’t find this place until this weekend after living in Westerly for almost two years, but I’m glad the chocolate mini-monsters (aka my 5 & 3 yo boys) and I (aka DaddyCandyMonster) found it this Saturday. Seth was awesome, let us try the different chocolates to see what agreed with our taste buds. Umm, it’s all delicious! I especially loved the white chocolate with real cocoa butter and people, you have to try the Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel truffle. INCREDIBLE.
My husband and I enjoyed the chocolate “museum “ with the explanations of how chocolate is made. The history of the shop was interesting. You can also watch the chocolate being made! Their chocolate is delicious! Have not tried the chocolate lace yet but it sounds great! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here and will be coming back for more treats! Thank you
