Went to Hattie’s yesterday for the first time on my break at work. I have a coworker that raves about their avocado toast and she knows I live avocado toast, so she has told me on numerous occasions to visit here and try. I went a little around 7am. Excellent customer service!! The waitress made a mistake and brought out small cups, when we had ordered mediums. She offered to remake them, and when we said it was OK, she reduced the price back to a small and gave us free refills of any flavor. Thank you!! We ordered lavendar latte, chai latte, and caramel mocha ... all of which met our expectations. The sourdough cinnamon toast was phenomenal as well! This place has a cozy, modern atmosphere. I REALLY wanted to love this place as it’s been on my “to visit list” for a while, however the baristas made us feel completely unwelcome and uncomfortable. We walked in at 3:26 they close at 5, the kitchen was already closed…. Our choice of food was one yogurt parfait, 2 overnight oats, 1 cookie, a few scones, macarons and cake pops.
