We're also a walk-in make & take craft studio where you can create a one-of-a-kind piece with your very own hands! In addition to items made locally by our shop, we also feature awesome goods from other talented folks across the state of Iowa. You'll find unique home decor, industrial & architectural salvage, repurposed & painted furniture and more! Our craft studio is available for private parties by appointment.

This is a great place for a get together. It's also great if you just want to come in on your own or with a friend. I plan on bringing my granddaughter some Saturday in the near future.
Love this store! It has so many cute and unique gifts for the hard-to-buy-for person! I decorated and purchased a craft and was extremely impressed by the owner's knowledge, helpfulness, and large selection of items to use! Very fun & friendly environment! Highly recommend Hatchlings & Hens!

Wonderful ideas and soooo many creative stuff to play with! They had everything I needed to create! :)
We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and were very impressed both by the hospitality of the owner and by how much fun our girls had (and for such a reasonable price)! I would recommend this for anyone with children looking for a fun, novel, and inexpensive activity for the family
The kids had a blast making gifts for Father's Day...I can't wait to come back on my own!
