I took my parents to this clinic for their eye appointments. The optometrist was very professional and we really appreciated his help — he was polite and patient. However, the experience with the receptionist was disappointing. She was extremely rude and impatient. At one point, I misunderstood what she was asking, and when I repeated the wrong thing twice, she snapped at me with a visibly annoyed expression. Dr Brian Sklapsky was great to deal with, he was courteous and informative. The problem arose when paying the bill.I was informed there would be a $3.00 charge for using my Costco creditcard? When I questioned it, that it might be not to great for future business,the receptionist informed me that Hatchard Optometry was doing very well $ . I can see why by penalizing loyal Costco members . Not about the 3.00$ all about principal!
Absolutely disgusting. I called to ask a question regarding my daughter’s appointment yesterday and was told that I would have to book and pay for another appointment if I had a question regarding her prescription. Are you kidding me?! What a joke and a rip off. Terrible customer service. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

If you value your time, do not go here. I have been to 3 appointments in the last few months and not once have I been seen in a reasonable amount of time. Today, I waited in the hall for 45 minutes to be seen by dr hatchard and was finally seen by another doctor who took pity on me and stayed late so I wouldn’t have to wait any longer.
