About this business

The oldest print shop in America opened in 1879. For decades, Hatch Show Print was the leading poster printer for circuses, vaudeville shows and sporting events. Today, it is located in the Country Music Hall of Fame and is best known for creating images of Grand Ole Opry stars, thousands of which line the shop's walls. Modern-day artists employ the same techniques that have been used since the 15th century, including printing works on site.

It’s fun to see letterpress printing still being used. I was trained in the 60s to run that equipment so it was really a flashback

So much fun! Tour guides were GREAT. Really gave good information, and were very engaging. Loved Hatch Print Shop before, but love it more now. The time and effort spent to create the pieces is unlike anything else. They are treasures, each one of them.

This was one of the best tours I’ve ever taken. Printmaking is becoming a lost art, and Hatch still uses traditional techniques. I loved every minute of it!

If you order from the people online...Do not expect to receive a professional packing job. They prefer to cut corners and send 8 prints in 1 small tube instead of sending the prints in multiple tubes. Bad bad bad on you Hatch for such lazy shipping methods

Excellent family program experience . We were fortunate to be there on the first Sunday of the month . The volunteers were so patient Nd generous with their time and the kids got to make multiple prints . And it was free !! Hint to get there early for passes - they passed out even earlier the. The 30 min ahead and we got the last set of passes
