We finally got our vehicle back from Hastings Ford after it was there for a major transmission repair, and the entire experience was incredibly frustrating. When we dropped the vehicle off, we had absolutely no issues with the battery. After the repair, we were told the battery no longer worked at all and needed to be replaced. They then wanted to charge us nearly $400 for it. That is extremely concerning considering the battery issue did not exist before the vehicle was in their care. Absolutely horrible experience at Hastings Ford. I bought a vehicle back in January, and working with Zach was one of the worst dealership experiences I've had. I felt misled throughout the process, and I did not feel that he was honest or transparent with me. Once the sale was done, it seemed like my concerns didn't matter. Customer service and integrity should come first when buying a vehicle, but that was not my experience here.
