I purchased a pair of "Viking Chairs" from Louis Shields at the Nashville antiques show. The chairs looked nice but they tip forward very easily (see video). This is potentially hazardous for my guests. I contacted Louis and he suggested stacking extra sliders under the legs, which did not work. He initially offered to repair the chairs, but he now has stopped responding to my multiple messages. I am posting this publicly in hopes of receiving a solution from the business.
The owner is extremely knowledgeable about ever peice in the store. The items are very unique and eclectic. There are pieces from before BC to modern paintings. He also repairs and restores painting. You can see the work being done in the store. I absolutely enjoy every time I go to his shop! You will not be disappointed. Take care and have a wonderful day!
