I’m giving Hassett & Reid LLP two stars because some of the staff were helpful. My experience with Kristen M. Reid was very different. The builder arranged this firm for my two closings, and I chose to use them. When the mortgage instructions for one unit weren’t coming through, I kept checking with BMO to find out what was happening. I used Hassett & Reid for the sale of my Calgary condo (July 2026 closing), having also used them for the original purchase in 2022. If you're expecting the standard of care a firm handling one of the largest financial transactions of your life should deliver, look elsewhere. I submitted all requested documents within 24 hours of the initial ask. What followed was weeks of silence, requiring repeated follow-up just to confirm basic things had been received.
