Beware of Harvey Hottel I am not a frequent review writer, but wanted to share my experience of problems we had with Harvey Hottel heating and air conditioning. We switched to Harvey Hottel three years ago because they are family run and received positive reviews. Since then, they have installed a new hvac unit and maintained another.
Caveat Emptor I used these guys and had a terrible experience with them. My AC broke during a terrible heat wave in July of 2003. The system was under warranty. I called and asked for quick service due to the heat. Hottel couldn't make it out until a Saturday. They diagnosed the problem, said that they would have to order the part and it would take a week to have the repair completed. And they charged me $178 for coming out on a Saturday (30 minutes), which was dictated by their inability to come to my home during the week! ... read more
Harvey W Hottel Inc is EXCELLENT My husband and I have used this company on several occasions for plumbing and HVAC work. They have been prompt, courteous, fair and reasonable in their pricing.
