Dr. Serota is an excellent cardiologist. He treated me very respectively and actually listened to me. He did not dismiss my symptoms, but he accurately assessed my health problems, and developed the treatment plan that included my desire to limit prescription medications and to utilize alternatives, such as vitamins and supplements. I believe that he has an individualized approach to his patients. I did not feel like a number to him, but he genuinely wanted to help me.
This man left one lead from one manufacturer and inserted 2 more leads and a device from another manufacturer. This is not approved by the FDA. My husband now needs a Brain MRI and cannot have it because of this.
The office is run very poorly. I waited a very long time and then only received my lab results after many many phone calls. The doctor ordered me several medications without ever discussing my lab results. I am a still awaiting results from other tests and it was two weeks ago that I went to the office. I would not recommend this office.
Dr. Shamim explains conditions fully in terms that a layman can understand, both when he initiates the discussion and when I ask questions. His knowledge of pharmaceuticals and their interactions with each other is outstanding. Also, he knows his limitations and does not hazard guesses about non-heart related problems. Sees patients on time. Pleasant, looks patients in the eyes. Excellent, helpful work. Ends treatment with opportunity to ask questions.
Patient became seriously ill while traveling. Dr. Shamim was excellent in diagnosis, treatment and communication. He is able to tell both patient and caretaker what is going on, treatment and anticipated outcome in laypersons' language. Five days after admission to ICU, Dr. Shamin's treatment and hospital care the patient left to go on a long plane ride. He is truly a highly skilled doctor who has terrific bed-side manner. Dr Shamin is incredible! Our father came in with a 90% chance of death and Dr Shamim saved his life. He was proactive, caustious, honest and willing to help our father. Amazing job!
This woman is amazing I have never felt so comfortable under a physicians care. I was injured at work and my heart condition was aggravated because of the injury. Dr. Singh has been very involved in my recovery and whenever I need something her and the staff are always available for me. One of the best cardiologist around I just love her.
Very pleasant I missed my earlier appointment and was worked in. All of the staff are very courteous.
