Horrific Customer Service – We have never been to a restaurant that had worse customer service than Harvest. Our waiter was unattentive even when he was talking to us. The owner was rude, insulting, and actually threw the bill back at us after telling us he wouldn't take care of the situation and stormed off. best food in st. louis – Harvest is the place t go if you want true local food and amazing flavor. i have travled around the US and i tell you it is hard to find great supurb food in the midwest for decent prices(mostly for the of fresh seafood). The food has grest fresh flavor, with a rustic feel. At harvest you can expect housemade sauces, desserts, and pretty much everything. No shortcuts here. Ita a wonderful dining experience. The service is friendly and informative. I highly recommeded.

Amazing Food, mediocre service – I had the pleasure of dining here on numerous occasions, and had never been disappointed once. Prompt seating, extensive wine list, and superb food best characterize this cozy place. The heavenly pan seared foie gras is a must have! The menu is seasonal, but I recommend always going for steak (Ribeye and Hanger are juicy and tender) or seafood (flavorful and nicely prepared). This is our top choice for special occasions – Harvest continues to delight us - wonderful food, fine service, and a classy atmosphere. This is a place for birthdays and anniversaries and just anytime you want to experience a top-notch restaurant all around. The menu changes by the season, but the beet salad is excellent, as well as the buffalo oysters. The signature dessert is the brioche bread pudding, but they have been experimenting with some intriguing ice cream (lemon rosemary...)
Too bad it's crowded and noisy – While the cuisine is great we found the tables crowded close together and had to raise our voices to hear each other.

Great Dinner Out – I enjoyed our dinner @Harvest. The server was attentive and very well informed regarding the menu, but not intrusive. The bar was well stocked, the bartender made a great cosmopolitan and the wine list is very good. The food was flavorful...I especially liked the roasted beet salad and the braised veal shoulder. I would recommend this place.
Harvest of Great food – As close as you get to the type of great food in New York or California without being there!! I go everytime I'm in St. Louis!! I enjoy the wine list and the way it pairs with the meal.
