I lived there in the final semester of my doctoral program. That was 2008 when the rent was only $600. Great location. Nice manager. What I loved about the place was that they gave tenants license to remodel and design the units any way we wanted and they encouraged creativity. They set up an apartment design contest awarding the most unique unit. They encouraged a sense of community. I honestly loved my 2.5 year stay in this complex. The maintenance guy, Jim, is amazing. Truly, one of the most genuinely kind people I have ever met. I also dealt with the supervisor very frequently, and she was always kind, and clear about everything. Living here was, overall, a superb experience for me. Please keep in mind that this is NOT a luxury apartment complex. These are affordable studios built over 50 years ago, and they look like it.
