Personally, I have used Harvest Inspection Services and was very pleased with how thorough and professional Fred was. Professionally, many of my clients have used Harvest, and to my knowledge, all of them were happy with the service they received.
Very thorough to say the least! Not only did Fred spend 3 hours going through the house with us he was there 45 minutes before us! He took the time to explain any issues he found as well as quick tips to resolve said issues. I have heard horror stories with awful home inspection, but Fred left me feeling safe in my purchase. Just had them come out for an inspection. It is our first house so when I contacted them we had a few questions which they were able to answer right away. Fred was very thorough with his inspection and took his time going through the house. He checked every little thing and was sure to tell us as well as show us things as we went along. We used Harvest Inspection Services for the purchase of a rental property. With exception of the roof's Harvest did a good job. With the roofs, we mislead about the condition of the roof. We were told the roof was in good serviceable condition. Little did we know that the roof was close to 100 years old (age of the building) according to two different roofing contractors, both who stated the roof was well beyond its useful lifespan and has been improperly patched up in multiple areas.
