Return calls, accommodate emergency GI appointments. Spent HOURS today trying to get a GI appt anywhere because I have serious rectal bleeding. HOURS; spoke with 6-7 people (multiple times). On the third or fourth phone call "Mary" at 781-292-1915 told me to go to an ER. Of course, at MY expense. So, I fork out $2200 (Harvard Pilgrim's numbers if I do this) for the visit and likely endoscopy and then more cash if they decide to do more tests (and they'll ALWAYS do more tests) out of MY pocket.
