Great Independent Bookstor This is a great independent bookstore located in the heart of harvard square. They've been here since the 1960s and is not corporately owned. Sales people are helpful and their remainders section is top notch. Parking is non-existant.!
Go for 20% off best sellers, find 100s of other staff and cutomer recomended titles The Harvard Bookstore is a weekly destination for me. (don't confuse this with The Harvard Coop, also in Harvard Square). Massive selection of books used and new! The Harvard Book Store is excellent. They have a massive selection of almost every kind of book. I particularly enjoy their art and architecture sections which provide quite an assortment of titles you won't find anywhere else in the area. And don't forget the used book and remainder section downstairs! Pretty good selection there as well and it will save you a bunch of money. good mom and pops book store Most of the bookstores are already brought by major store chains or driven out of business. Harvard Book Store is trying to remain competitive. They bring in a lot of local authors for signings. Sometimes, the lines get very long. There are really many good deals. You can pick a book here for even less than buying it online. I don't know how they do that, but it sounds good!
great local bookstore Great selection, great bookstore. Occasionally they sell autographed copies of books from when the author came to visit. They also have an email mailing list.
