I was one if those terrified patients after a terrible experience at another perio in Virginia Beach. Dr. Hartman is the best doctor I've ever seen he calms my nerves, never causes me pain and has done an excellent bone graft for me. I could not speak any more highly if him.
Dr. Hartman performed 3 separate dental implant bone grafts on me a few years ago. The price was very reasonable, Dr. Hartman office carefully studied and spread the work throughout the years to ensure the coverage from insurance, which was not an easy task. Dr. Hartman informed me of very single steps during the surgery and watched my facial reactions carefully to ensure that I was not in pain or too uncomfortable with the needles....One time, due to the insurance misread the tooth # (20 instead of 28), they denied the paym... read more
Dr. Hartman is a very caring dentist and does good work. He does his best to limit the amount of pain his patients endures. The office is kepted clean and in order. The clinical and office staff can appear to be a bit unfriendly, however Dr. Hartman outgoing personality overcomes his office staff. I would reccommend him to my friends and associates.
Dr. Hartman became my periodontist over a year ago when my former periodontist retired. I have been to him numerous times for perio treatment, surgery and maintenance. Dr. Hartman is extremely personable and works well with adults and children. He is extremely knowledgeable and makes me feel very relaxed when I visit his office. Dr. Hartman maintains an ongoing relationship with my dentist and endodontist in coordinating a multi-faceted treatment plan for my teeth and gums.
