Gerry and his mechanics are great. They are conservative. If they can't find a part, they will clean it up and work with it tell it works. I would highly recommend Hartman Automotive.

Gerry and Skip did an awesome job on my 2001 Dodge Dakota. New clutch and rear end and it drives like it was new.

Hartman Automotive is probably the most honest shop in the area. I was told by Jiffy Lube I needed rear brakes NOW. I took it to Gerry and after looking at the brakes he told me I still had plenty of pad on the brakes. It would have been so easy for them to put new ones on and be done with it. I have been going there for 10 years and my friend has been going ever since he moved up 15 years ago. The price seems right, the service is as quick as possible. I will never go anywhere else.

Best Auto Shop EVER! I'm not mechanically inclined, so for the past 30 years I've had others do all of the maintenance work on 10 cars, and NEVER have I had such a great experience! When I first called to get a quote to have the 60k tune-up done on my Honda CRV, Gerry called me back within 30 minutes after doing some research to be sure he gave me an accurate estimate. When I dropped it off, he took the time to make sure we were both in agreement as to what was (and wasn't) going to be done. He called me a couple of hours la... read more

All-around excellent experience. I perform enough of my own vehicle maintenance to diagnose most problems or at least narrow down the potential sources of them. In this particular case, my vehicle surprisingly failed an emissions test. With no obvious power train problems or check engine light present, I bought my car to Hartman Automotive for further diagnosis. Gerry quickly put me on the schedule and even arranged a ride home. Don't go here This is not a good place to take you car... I took my car here and had to pay a good amount of money to get it fixed. They had to remove my whole seat to get to a wire. Now my seat is broken and will not move down and they want $1,000 more dollars to fix it.. On top of that they wanted $30 dollars to take a look at it again... When picking up my car the owner was very rude and nasty, i will never take my car there again and will spread the word around.
