I'm just gonna say, anyone who left a 5 star review hasn't looked at their house closely. Or they're contractors for Hartland... just google half the names on these reviews. We bought a Hartland home last year, and I wish I had anything good to say. The outlets arc and crackle in the wall. You can hear them. The HVAC makes a sound and the fan has never turned on. They told me I'm an idiot and made it up (even after the inspector confirmed). The deck is JANKY. We do not feel safe walking on it. The home inspector agreed (shou... read more
Hartland has a well established reputation in Lincoln and they certainly did everything to earn it. Edit 1: They have a debris pile left over from construction despite being reminded several times. Going on three months post close. I'll continue to update through the warranty period. Edit 2: Debris has been cleaned up! (took five months from close) After giving them ample opportunity to correct, adding more. The exterior paint on the house is full of dirt, and the garage doors look awful because of it. My wife and I built our first house with Hartland Homes and we had a great experience from start to finish. The pre-build process was stress free and we had plenty of great options to choose from. During the building process, Todd kept us updated on each portion of the build and it was incredible to watch our dream come to life.
