Dr.. Hartigan was unhelpful and dismissive.He only recommended Hoka sneakers with a 10% discount at Marathon Sports. He has a 'deal' with them. It felt very unprofessional. He would not help with cutting uncomfortable nails, had nothing to say about effects of several melanoma surgeries, and inaccurately wrote notes that did not correspond to the actual visit. I would not see him again or recommend him.
This man maimed me for life. He did a "flexor tenotomy" on me (severing tendons in the toe) without explaining risks or consequences, for an ingrown toenail, and I naively and foolishly trusted him and gave consent. He disabled my right 2nd toe for life -- I'm left with a weakened, unbendable, useless stump that's hyper-sensitive to being touched because of the severed structural tendons. And another reviewer here mentioned the lying in his medical notes of which I will absolutely corroborate and testify to his fabrications ... read more

I came to see this doctor for nail fungus and skin issues on the bottom of my foot. He started the appointment by taking an X-ray of my foot even though I didn’t have any complaints that warranted an X-ray. All my complaints were topical. That was red flag number one. Waste of time and delay in actually getting appropriate treatment!! I needed PT, he prescribed 2 prescriptions and come back in a few months. No improvement!! Found another podiatrist! Had PT! So much better!! Would NOT recommend him.
