If your relative is admitted to Hartgrove, they are mentally healthy enough to be released, but you are having trouble getting them released, here are the steps I followed to get my relative released: 1. I had my relative request and sign a 5 day "discharged against medical advice" form. My relative requested this form when she arrived, but did not receive the form until two days later. 2. I used to work there and the place is terrible. Some of the staff is caring, but others are not. like "ms Tasha" . she's a mental health specialist and they allow her to do whatever she wants like calling the patients out of their names (especially the kids) I heard her call several of them bitches ( I Reported it and nothing happened) the nurses are mostly drunk half the time like nurse tiffany. That this facility is filled with patients that receive their insurance coverage because they are on Medicaid is why this hospital continues to operate and is populated If you wish to receive the most minimal care possible, this facility will not even provide that. This place is a crude and pathetic facility. The employees that work their are unpleasant to deal with and do not have any amount of empathy The physical facilities are appalling and disgusting. Very disappointed with the care my son received. First day there, the nurse had no clue that he had medications to take or claimed consent was never given. Consent was given during admission, and the staff failed to read the paperwork. The floor my son was on was dirty. Staff could be heard yelling at patients while on phone with my son. Seemed staff had no control of happenings on the floor. Social worker wouldn't return calls, unless his supervisor was called. Psychiatrist won't return calls for appt. Numerous figh... read more

I'm a girl from php girls program. I'm 15 yrs old. I like this program a lot because it has help me a lot. I have learned so many thing when i was there. It has help me a lot with my behavior. They have show me how to control my behavior and not to talk back to adult. Even how to respect other like my parents and siblings. WORST hospital I have EVER dealt with! My daughter is 12 and was admitted due to depression. Once I checked in my daughter they gave me a paper with visiting hours and phone hours. The 1st full day she was there I called during her call times and was told she was busy and could not talk EVERY single time I called (5x total for the day.) The paper stated visiting hours are Wednesday's 715-830pm, I arrived at the facility at 7pm and was told that her visiting hours were over!
