We were excited to buy our Hartford Home, we closed on the home and the night mare started, Smoke Detectors going off in the middle of the night having the fire department out to check things out. It took months to get Hartford do anything, they treated my family like we are imposing on them. Our cook top was not level, this again was another we are imposing on them, the kitchen cabinets were not level, the solution was a Hartford work around. Horrible. Spent over 300K on a home. The work was done very cheaply, they made sure to get the cheapest things in and gave you no choice to change it. Very rude and arrogant, basically "if you don't like it then there are other buyers that would buy it". Customer service is not a priority. They did not hold up any of the promises they made and left the community in shambles. Not willing to come back and make it right. The 1 year warranty, Means nothing. Good sales team, decent experience with builder, very poor experience with warranty team. They try to make it sound like you are being picky, when you finally get them to schedule a few fixes(which you have to constantly get in touch with them to do) they wonât show up or send a laborer instead of a trade and canât fix the problem. I have given up on them to fix the problems myself because of the time they have cost me at work.
