My daughter has gotten an MRI here in Winsted and is today getting a cat scan. So this location is in addition to Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington. The staff I have met are very nice. This location shares space with the emergency room.
I hate to give a 1 because the clinical staff were really great. The staff at check in, however, was disrespectful, argumentative and dismissive. They also seem to be unaware that there conversations are not private and can be heard by the whole waiting room. I asked a question about why another patients care was prioritized over my mothers. I didn’t really understand their answer because they kept saying the clinicians triage and decide but neither my mother or the other patient was ever met by a clinician. Any question I a... read more
Great care from start to finish. My nurse was amazing. She made me feel so safe and well taken care of. Never had such a wonderful experience at an emergency room before.
