Went for a Crohn's flare up and my pain was discounted and told "we dont prescribe pain meds here". My Hartford Hospital Chart has notes for pain meds if asked for, which I ask for maybe once a year because I don't like how they make me feel, but this was the worst flare I've had in about two years. Staff was professional and approachable and I did not feel rushed.
Arrived without an appointment and advised the policy of walk ins. Support staff was appropriately cheerful for my circumstances. Back and leg pain. The physician examined me in the areas and regions I reported that were bothering me. He advised me regarding the use of ibuprofen. The time spent was appropriate and the information helpful.
