Harter House ham loaf is excellent, some of the best I have ever had, except for the ones my Mother made.
I called HH a few days ago looking for 73/27 ground beef. They told me they did not carry that ratio but they could grind if for me if I wanted to come in. I drove to the store and told them what I needed. The guy in charge told the worker to grind up some "fatty" ground beef. I waited around about 5 minutes and they had a 5 pound package for me. All the meat I have gotten over the years has always been very high quality.
They bought out a local grocery store. The quality of the produce and the formerly excellent deli food has slipped. I've heard their meat was above average, but I'm seeing it and I'm not sure it's worth the increase in prices.
