This is now the third major repair we've had due to his oversight. The first month the furnace went out and house almost caught on fire because of corrosion in breaker box. Now the cracked valve under the sink which has been a slow leak requires the entire bathroom to be gutted including supporting walls and mold! Would not recommend this inspector to my worst enemy!
Would NOT recommend! His itemized list was very short and didnt have very much information. Took pictures of the pipes under the kitchen sink and marked it satisfactory, when in fact the pipes didnt even fit into one another and water links every where! The inspection of the attic he marked as satisfactory but suggested I add a little more insulation. (said I had R19 and R38 is recommended for our area, shouldnt cost more then $500) I had an insulation guy come out and I only have R12 up there and its going to cost me over $... read more
Pros: Very thorough and polite man. Showed up on time. Patiently went through the house and answered my questions. Very good price. Cons: 1. Does not volunteer information. You have to ask him. 2. Concentrates on the "insides" and minor staff. I felt like he did not pay enough attention to the structural/major issues, like the foundation, roof, and electrical. 3.
