My experience with Dr. Vittal leaves both his integrity and competence in question. After a CT scan revealed a lesion in the head of my pancreas, my GI doctor recommended an EUS-FNA for a definitive diagnosis. The radiologist suggested it might be pancreatic cancer, a shocking possibility given the disease’s aggressive nature and poor prognosis. Dr. Vital is the absolute best and changed my life. He was called in to run point on a surgical team gathered to address my chronic gallstones. He performed a very specialized surgery that he was one of a few in the region could perform. The respect and friendship the staff at Good Sam San Jose shares with Dr. Vital was so apparent too. I've been under his care for the last few years and he had been fantastic. Excellent bedside, caring, and continues to make my situation improve. Highly recommend!

I messaged Dr. Vittal, as a now previous established patient, regarding my symptoms and he asked me to come in for an in person visit. I scheduled a visit immediately, took time off my work day to see Dr. Vittal, as I explained the symptoms (same as I had listed in the MHO message) he looks me and says “I can’t help you with that,” he refers me out and walked out the room. Dr. Vittal was in the patient room for about 1 minute and of course they billed my insurance and now I’m left with the copay for absolutely NO reason. Unp... read more
