It has been about two years since I have gone here and I now suffer from PTSD. I had attempted to take my life and failed and was told at Union that they would call Cps on my mother if I did not go to Harsha. Once I had got there my roommate molested me and I luckily had my room changed but was still being harassed by that patient that touched me, and nobody did anything. This place did nothing for my kid besides drug him up and send him home 4 days later cuz i couldn't pay the bills right away. Who cares my kid tried to kill himself as long as they get their money then wanna try and sue someone for not paying bills in full when your literally paying as much as you can afford....
Harsha Behavioral Center provided exceptional care for my son during his first-ever inpatient stay, and we are deeply grateful for the support we received. My son was there for about 6 days on Friday my son cashed me and says mom the guy with the black shirt had me in the floor he pinched my skin so I could walk, he strap me in the chair for a long time so I could calm my self and mock me because of me breathing heavily( my son has asthma ) When I get there to pick him up he says the same thing I ask is they know the name of the person no body knows. My son is currently receiving care at Harsha, and this facility is an absolute breath of fresh air. For the first time in 11 years, I don't feel dismissed or swept to the side. I feel completely seen and heard. I spoke with the therapist Stacy on Friday, and she took a great deal of time talking with me about her initial thoughts, findings, and concerns.
