I would never spend my money in a place that does not recognize the law. If they ignore ADA law, what other law would they chose to ignore just because the owner doesn't like it? Denying access in a public place to a service dog is ILLEGAL! Last time I checked, a restaurant is a public place. This owner doesn't realize how much this might cost him financially. Plus, if I were disabled or handicapped in any way, I would not give this inconsiderate business my hard earned money!! Learn the law, Harry's!
I am disappointed and upset that there are still businesses that don't obey the disability laws of the USA. Service dogs are NEEDED by those with medical disabilities. They don't "GET" to bring a dog everywhere. They don't have the option of leaving their disability at home.
I would never dine at a restaurant that refuses to allow a service dog in their establishment.
A business that refuses access to a Certified Service Animal is willfully breaking the law. There are consequences to breaking the law. First, that business loses customers. Second , they must face the penalties of the law. And those penalties can become very serious and VERY costly. I won't be frequenting Harry's.
You cannot discrimination against service dogs and the owners that need them! Hopefully these reviews will be taken to heart and you change your policies.
I will never give these people a dime of money. Refusing a service animal is discrimination.
I don't live near this place, will never go there, and will spread the word to every one I know in Wisconsin. My friend with a disability was prohibited from entering with her service dog, which violates federal laws. Learn the law!
Our group of 5 had the fried dough appetizer, and 4 pizzas. Everything was delicious and fresh. We unfortunately waited a little too long to get our food, but by the time we left everyone was happy to have come. Harry made up for the mistake with dessert, and our waitress Lilly was very accommodating and sweet. We will definitely be back!
