When ever Iam in Gainesville, FL I make it a point to visit Harry’s Seafood it’s my favorite seafood spot....great downtown atmosphere!!! My family loves Harry’s also❤️
Tonight was graduation day at U of F, the busiest time in Gainesville. But it was time for my annual birthday dinner at Harry's! We live in Salt Springs, about 50 miles away. We got out of the Hippodrome from seeing the Christmas Carol and strolled down to Harry's, starving because we'd skipped two meals that day to drive around Lake Santa Fe, but we had not called ahead for seating. Waiter named Jarred added an extra $10.00 to our bill. My husband caught it. Told Jarred and he replied “Sorry it happens.” Went to void out our card; came back to the table and told us it would come off tomorrow. If it didn’t, to call.” My husband told Jarred that he was not happy and felt like we were being scammed out of $10.00.
