Had pneumonia and lung infection, hurt like hell to even breath, Dr.Kourlis was great, scraped my lung and inserted chest tube, took excellent care of me in the days following my surgery, one of the greatest surgeons i have ever met, he earned a 5 star rating, he saved my life.And as a added bonus, i don't smoke anymore
Dr. Kourlis successfully repaired two of my heart valves. It was not an easy repair, but it was a good repair! The bonus was that I did not need a valve replacement, thanks to his expertise. I would recommend him to anyone.
I don't think he is very good he is rude and does not answer questions when asked. He let my son set up Staph infection in his side where his tube was they never checked on it. His lung collapsed and they ended up putting 3 tubes in and after all of that they finally did surgery on him.I would not recommend him at all.
Excellent surgeon! Caring and compassionate, spends a great amount of time explaining procedures and answers questions with great patience.
