Had required sewer lateral work to do as mandated by the City of Berkeley. Got multiple quotes. This one was the lowest at $4500 for the required work. Final tally: $9000 - ouch! While the quote states that extra work may be required to pass test, no information was provided to us while the work was actually happening. (HC) even as a last resort. Contracted them to install two HVAC systems. They installed the ruff and when it came time to do the final, startup,,, they stated several reasons over several phone calls they high lights are,,, they needed more money, they don't work in the area and the original contract was whom they have a contractor with not the home owner, so they don't have to honor it.

Very prompt and caring Did GREAT work.. Family owned. My husband and I have a toilet that constantly gets clogged. Sometimes plunging just doesnt work. I called Harry Clark Plumbing to come out and they not only unclogged my toilet but they put some sort of tool down there that completely cleared my line, its gone with out being clogged for some time now. Now I know to always ask for my toilet to be "snaked." Also the plumber that came was very clean and polite. He wore shoe covers of his shoes so not to drag in mud, which I... read more

They give free estimates! I called Harry Clark to look at some plumbing work I wanted done, and the person I talked to on the phone was nice and helpful. They worked with my schedule, and got someone to me when it was convienent for me. They came out and gave me a verbal estimate of what it would cost , explained the price to me and then also typed up a proposal that I could keep for my records. All of this for FREE!
