Beloved sportscaster Harry Caray may be gone, but to Cub fans, his spirit remains and so does his restaurant. The building, designed in 1895 by Henry Ives Cobb as a factory that made varnishes for furniture, is worth a look itself. One of the best dining experiences we've ever had. From the moment we walked in we were treated with great customer service. Steve was amazing and provided us with a wonderful dining experience. The highlight of our night was the attendant John. He's definitely one of our new best friends. This man made our night so fun and so special. He was a pleasure to talk to and we look forward to visiting with him again next time we come back. We hope you enjoyed your dinner sir. God bless!! Thank you everyone for the well wishes and ... read more
Service was excellent, atmosphere wonderful. Food was ok too. Glad we included it in our little "Cubs" trip.
My first time in Chicago and first time at Harry Carey's. Both were amazing!
Excellent wine selection, the food was amazing. The 18 oz Rib eye it was incredible. The only bad thing it was that the couple next us, they were complaining because my wife and I were speaking spanish between us. I pretty sure that person doesn't have any idea the importance of the tourism in Chicago, and also it is time to accept the diversity on that city that makes Chicago more beautiful.
Corp event there- I don't think they were ready for the event. 30 of us with 2 servers. Food was ok - I expected more.
