Beloved sportscaster Harry Caray may be gone, but to Cub fans, his spirit remains and so does his restaurant. The building, designed in 1895 by Henry Ives Cobb as a factory that made varnishes for furniture, is worth a look itself. Excellent food and service. Especially happy they were able to accommodate our party of 20 on Thanksgiving Day.
Had an amazing lunch and great service today which we always have when dinning here. I left my hat which didn't have much monetary value but more sentimental and a few nice ladies Hope/Debbie I believe were able to find it and mail it back to me in the suburbs. Thanks again!!
Stopped in for an early dinner prior to the Festival of Lights parade and a play at The Oriental Theater. There was just 2 of us and was told immediate seating was open in the bar area. Got a table so it was nice not having to elbow up to the actual bar. The free chips are great. Ordered the Italian Sausage and peppers. Holy Cow (pun intended) that was alot of food...and tasted great.
The valet parking was almost no where in front of the restraunt, I then phoned in and the awesome man took initiative and found the valet driver, the ravioli was the best I ever had my husband loved his steak. The waitress was really on point and welcoming. I loved all the info about the mobsters on the wall..... Well worth it
