Went to this dr. for annual pap exams and hormones. However, he just left his Jourdanton office/practice a few months ago without notifying any of his patients! Would not recommend this doctor!!!

I recently started having chest pain that was worsening. I discussed treatment/testing options with Dr. Alvarez and we decided to do a catheterization. Unfortunately, I tested Covid positive and was going to be rescheduled. Dr. Alvarez was concerned enough about my story that he worked with Methodist Hosp Cath lab to ensure I got treated. Dr. Khatib and his wonderful surgical staff performed a colonoscopy and an endoscopy on my 10 year old daughter about a month ago. He explained the results with me immediately after very thoroughly and I left feeling reassured that she was in the best hands possible. From the very first appointment their office made my daughter feel welcome. All the processes were seamless from that appointment up until scheduling the follow up. Very rude employee, patsy. Always wants to talk before you about a question. Then I tell her the truth about what’s she’s saying, and she’s wrong but acts like nothing happened. Very rude, i will get another doctor.

He is a real patient oriented dr. His experience and expertise is up with the best, and yet a patient would never know this unless they looked at his back ground..Better yet, he was willing to come see me while in the hospital on a cell text from my PCP...

My first visit as a new patient was met with a very friendly and helpful staff. Dr. Gonzales was very personable and I appreciate his welcoming mannerism as a new patient. Dr Gonzales knew my medical history and my reason for the visit to his office prior to entering the exam room. I would highly recommend Dr. Gonzales to family and friends.

I've had Dr. Carey as my cardiologist for the past 3 years. My insurance changed and I don't think he is in the network, but called to see if he was or if there was a suggested referral. All I got was an abrupt "you won't get any meds refilled until you come in." I didn't ask for a refill and we never got to the referral discussion. I've always had good experiences with him and his staff until this.
