Seemed to have a set agenda and diagnosis before he even met me. Did not seem to want to listen. I never saw him again. Went to see the guys at Avala. They were great. Addressed my pain issues immediately, then aggressively worked to find the cause of my lower back issue. Which turned out not to be what Dr. Blessey had suggested.

One of if not the Worst experience of my life. Got infection in spinal cord from first surgery which happened in middle of the night when scheduled at 9am! Then had to have “emergency “ surgery two weeks later to clean up the infection- again I. The middle of the night after sitting in ER for 3 days!! I wouldn’t let him touch my dog! Came out worse than I went in. Disabled now!

Dr Lee has been my PCP for 7 years now. He always listens to me and refers when he needs to. He's done all the PCP things, from doing annual Bloodwork, to treating my broken toe, to coordinating my care with all my doctors. He takes you seriously and doesn't act like you are overreacting or a hypochondriac. I have several rare diseases and he takes care of my basic needs while keeping up to date with the treatments from my specialists. He's not judgemental. My last PCP didn't take me seriously, even though I have several spe... read more

Initially, my visits with Dr. Ferrier were positive. However, more recently, I’ve noticed a decline in her level of care. She doesn’t follow up on lab results, whether through the portal or via a phone call. When I bring up concerns or ask for her opinion, she often responds with statements like, “I don’t know, that’s why I’m sending you to a specialist.” Lately, she primarily sits at her desk, inputs our discussion into the computer, performs a quick exam, and leaves. It feels impersonal and rushed. Her Medical Assistants s... read more

I am an neuro ICU nurse in the hospital where this doctor works and went to see him for my migraine after my neurologist ran out of options for me. After two visits he refused to see me any longer. He refused to answer my questions, his office refused to answer my on line question and requests for appointment or calls. He kept referring me to doctors that were in offices an hour anway even though I live 10 minutes from his office. We work in the same ICU unit. I take care of his patients and he would ignore me in the halls. ... read more

We used to have a great deal of respect for Dr. Gala. He delivered our first son, and saved my wife's life. It is for this reason that my wife trusted him with a health care issue 14 years later. The experience was not the same. He did nothing to resolve the issue. He performed unnecessary exams. My wife's health has not improved. He can't be trusted anymore.

The best! My daughter has Chiari Malformation I. We are from Mississippi. Mississippi pediatric neurosurgery completely missed her need for emergency surgery and thankfully our pediatrician sent us to Ochsner. Dr. Bui is absolutely the best surgeon. After decompression surgery, she?s pain free and has her quality of life back!! We are beyond thankful and highly recommend!!

This woman is clinically incompetent. After making my son wait for almost an hour in severe pain (they were not busy), she evaluated him for severe abdominal pain. As soon as she found out he had played baseball prior she became convinced it was a testicular torsion despite there being absolutely zero symptoms of a torsion. Not only did she not get any abdominal imaging, she sent us to another hospital because they didn't have a pediatric urologist. This ended up in us paying thousands of more dollars than we should have. At... read more

From the start of my ankle fusion journey, he was professional, informative, and had a soft bedside manor. Day of surgery, he was very chipper, as you can tell he truly enjoys what he does, which settled any pre-surgery jitters I may have had (it was my first surgery ever!). I trust this doctor 100%.
