even though I have not lived here i would not recommend these apartments to anyone, only to the fact that the staff there is very rude i called to get prices and the lady sounded like she hated her job, and when i asked to tour the apartment i got a rude remark about how she didnt want to show the apartment because of the snow, I would say that this was the biggest loss for them i was interested in the apartments until the lady gave me that kind of excuse for not showing a apartment.snow isnt a problem especially when you ca... read more
Ive lived in Harrison Apartments for about 9 months and couldnt be more pleased. When I moved in the apartment was in great shape. The only problem was a clogged bathtub drain from the previous tenant, but I told Susan, the property manager, about it and it was cleared by the time I came home from work the next day. Harrison Apartments are indeed an alright please to live and really are in a wonderful area. My problem with them is simply the property manager. She is the most unfriendly and unhelpful person I have ever spokewith. Also, very unprofessional! If you call and ask questions she is always rude with her responses, she makes you feel ignorant for asking her anything, and have had problems with things being fixed. Susan, the property manager, is one of the worst people anyone should ever have to deal with. She made me sign the lease, but didnt have time for me to read it or wouldnt make me a copy of the lease for me to have. Then she claims that we have to give here 30 days written notice before we move out even if we move out when our lease is up. Since we failed to do that she is keeping our deposit plus requiring us to pay another months rent. There is no water pressure and the drains are always clogged. Mark Oyster is the worst to rent off of. He expects you to pay \$400.00 or more for a studio when you have to be the one to fix up the place. The place needs updated so bad that when I first moved in the walls and ceilings were so brown from cigarette smoke that I had to hurry up and paint the next day. He has furniture that has been in there for years and the door knobs, locks, door hindges are so cheap that they break all the time.
