In 1960, Harris Super Markets and Teeter's Food Marts officially merged to form Harris Teeter. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ruddick Corporation. HT on the local news announcement that masks would NOT BE REQUIRED making it unsafe for both shoppers & EMPLOYEES

I seriously believe this harris teeter is a portal to hell. The produce section is always decimated. totally empty shelves and the ones that aren't empty have rotted food on them. they dont just not look nice I mean that the loose portobellos always have mold on them. no less than four times I have brought back food that was rotted inside the packaging. as messed up as having completely furry mushrooms. I'm talking like a full inch of mold growing on these things. I've brought it to their attention with strange responses. th... read more

I seriously believe this harris teeter is a portal to hell. Do " Humans" even work there ?No one to assist you in deli Dept ?Other Employees are just rude or are just stupid ? Do not Waste your time shopping there - drive a few miles to Guilfird or Friendly locations !

Harris Teeter used to be my primary home grocery store, but recently I'd recently left Harris Teeter to patronize other stores with safer and healthier initiatives. Ironically, during my emergency holiday run to the store, I was very excited to find out about Harris Teeter's new campaign, "Free from 101" which helps you to identify items that do not use harmful additives, MSG, parabens, etc. Although I have recently made the conscience decision to re-evaluate our family's food choices and begin shopping more exclusively at W... read more

Terrible!! Conventional produce marked organic, dirty, disorganized, rude employees who obviously could not care less.
