A Piece of California History Although Harris Ranch is a California restaurant, all you need is a Ten-Gallon hat, which you can buy in the gift shop, to think you are at a Texas barbecues. The steaks are wonderful, the atmosphere authentic, and the service friendly, Harris Ranch is actually a ranch and their beef is raised in the rolling hills north of the premises. The place is in actuality, a resort with its own 5 star hotel, gardens, pools and golf course. Oh yeah, the food is great.
Great stopping point I always stop here on the way to northern california. The steak is amazing and they even have their own butcher on site. I would recommend any beef plate but they also offer other great entrees.
It might be expensive, but its worth it! I just went to a retirement party at Harris Ranch Restaurant and it was one of the greatest meals that I had. The bill was pretty big, but with the portions that we got it was very worth it. The staff was great and very friendly. The restaurant is very clean too!
