I got a shag cut from Dakota. Literally the best stylist I’ve ever gone to. I live down on the coast and it is well worth the 4 hr drive to go up to Portland to have Dakota cut my hair. Recently I brought my son up to have Dakota do his hair, and was fortunate enough that Dakota fit me in too. The salon is classy and comfortable. I really like the location as well, some places it’s hard to find parking but it was pretty easy to get close parking. Venice is amazing. Venice used to do my hair in Denver, then she moved to Portland. Now I get my hair done in Portland :) She is truly the best. Haven’t been able to find anyone as good as she is since she left. Portland is lucky to have her.

Had pleasure joining my friend for her haircut with Venice at this salon and I can only say good things about the salon and everyone who works there. Venice went out of her way to make sure my friend was satisfied with her haircut and hair color. She's funny and very sweet. She'll make sure you leave her chair satisfied and confident. I've gone to Julie at Harris Harper for years! She is a delight. Sometimes I come in with a plan, sometimes I just ask her to do whatever my hair needs. I'm always happy with it. I have wavy/curly hair that I wear both curly and straight and Julie cuts it so that it can be flexible.
