I feel every patient should be given the time necessary for a full evaluation and diagnosis. I always try to listen to what the patient has to say. Listening will often result in a clear diagnosis and answer. I do not rush my patients, this may result in my practice running behind schedule, but the benefit to the patient of a thorough evaluation after listening to the story, problem, and symptoms usually results in an accurate diagnosis and therefore a well treated patient.

They usually have Linh waits but the front desk always recommends calling first to avoid delays -I did and they offered to call back when I should come -it was great ended up being in and out in 30 minutes -great service by the staff!!
I am a physician and underwent surgery under the care of Dr. Gellman today, 10/25/2017. From my initial visit with Dr. Gellman and through today's surgery, I was well informed by Dr. Gellman and his office and surgical center staff. I underwent cubital tunnel release surgery today. I have minimal to no pain, and my symptoms are already much better. I highly recommend without reservation Dr. Gellman for any orthopedic surgery. My final grade is an A-plus. No one better in my opinion!
. 10.17.17. Dr. Gellman came very highly recommended from my orthopedic surgeon when he realized I needed hand surgery. I was very pleased with both Dr. Gellman and his staff. All very professional pre and post surgery. I would recommend Dr. Gellman to anyone in South Fl. who has any hand issues. . .
Dr. Gellman is not only an incredible doctor but he is a wonderful, caring person. He performed surgery on Both of my children who are now feeling great and have resumed activities. Dr. Gellman saw past the injury on my kids hand/elbow and identified greater medical issues we would have never known. The office staff is equally as wonderful and caring. When we were in the office with our kids, we knew we were cared for! Dr. Gellman is worth the wait
Dr. Gellman recently removed a large lipoma mass from my wife's (Judy) forearm. This was major surgery as the lipoma was shaped like a doughnut wrapped around the bone and close to critical nerves. Dr. Gellman's expertise and experience were apparent as he did a fantastic job of removing the lipoma (as large as his hand) and Judy has now fully recovered. A super job... The office staff are all efficient and friendly and spend sufficient time with you to make you feel comfortable...
I have seen Dr. Gelman over the years for tendon and joint problems in both hands. He has always been phenomenal. He is always correct in his diagnosis and most importantly his treatment allowed me to go back to work pain free in 1-2 days. I have read some of the comments and I guess for me whats most important is the correct diagnosis and treatment. In that regard he is always 100 percent.
Dr. Gellman with all the respect of you giving excellent work and I agree that you give patients dedicated time while we are in the room. On the other hand it is very disrespectful to have us make appointment and to know we will have to wait 3+ hours. We also have jobs and schedules. I'm sure you would want respect from us so you need to respect people's schedule. Don't make many appointment if you can't get to all of them. If you are so good people will come or hire another Dr. In your office
Waited 2 hours after I called. A student sweet girl came in Miss Patel. She asked questions. Then another young girl came in more questions and examined my finger. They both gave me different opinions on what to do. Then casually the Dr walks in with a cup of coffee in his hands. Does not shake my hand does not examine me. Just looks down at my hand and says oh yes surgery. We have to cut and take this out. In a clinic he said. I said what about in a hospital? He said that would cost more. My $
Waited 3 hrs past my appt time despite calling ahead as was recommended. I was told to come right in. 1.5 hours in the waiting room later, they showed me back to a room where a med student asked some questions. I noticed from her notes that she has no ability to differentiate between a causal versus related pain association. Finally 1.5 hrs later, I had enough and opted to leave. Doctor came over and was in hysterics. Not a chance I am letting you examine me in that state. First and last visit.
