I was referred from a podiatrist for surgery on my hammer toe and bunion. Once Dr Kaplan entered the room he asked what was the problem I informed him of my issue, he then proceeded to ask me my medical history I let him know I have asthma and my allergy to advil. My husband saw Dr. Kaplan twice. He is a diabetic and has never had a problem with his feet. When we saw Dr. Kaplan he stressed the importance of taking care of his feet since he is a diabetic and if there is ever any indication of an infection, to call his office immediately. Well, he had an infection and we called the office and they said that he couldn’t see him for another several weeks and we should go to the ER.
