We had a very bad experience with a used car dealership, which is still not resolved. After a nice conversation with Mr. Harrington where he was confident about achieving a positive result if he was involved, we went ahead and paid $2k to start the process. That's where it stopped. Communications went from minimum to no replies at all. Nothing was ever done. Not sure how he can still operate, since this really feels like we got scammed all over again. Don't pay the "retainer"! Things seemed promising - but as soon as we paid his $2,500 retainer, communication all but ceased. Despite agreeing to file a lawsuit against a used car dealership, Mr. Harrington never followed through—and kept the money. Months of emails and phone calls have gone completely unanswered. It became so concerning we had to verify he was a licensed attorney (he is), and we’ve now been advised we have no choice but to file a formal complaint with the Florida Bar Association. I hired Mr. Harrington to fight a case for me in November involving a car dealer who I bought a car from remotely. The car arrived in a condition with so many undisclosed problems, it had to be scrapped for parts. He agreed to fight my case which involved submitting all of my documents against the dealers bond in FL. He said it would take about 60 days.
