We had a problem with our heat kicking on and someone came out 3 hours before they said they were coming and never called to say they were coming early. The guy who came couldn’t figure out the problem so we got a new thermostat and the problem started happening 5 days later. We’ll be using another company to look into the issue.
Three half hour waits on the phone call today to schedule a service ridiculous
It's not Harriett's anymore. They were sold to Petro. Petro had no record of my account, nor the services I got with Harrietts and when I asked about replacing a water heater someone called me back and said they don't service my area!? 2 stars for nice people on the phone but I've moved on.
My oil-fed water heater began shutting off randomly. I thought I could fix it myself but was unable to. It seemed to work but I didn’t fully fasten a line and created a small oil leak. In addition I also needed more heating oil so I called Harriet’s. I called and left 3 VMs yet no one called me back (later the supervisor said they called and left me a VM, but they didn’t - we all have caller ID on our phones…they never called). Long time service company we have been with them for general maintenance. But recently had our 100 year old boiler oil system converted to gas . These guys are top mechanics so great to communicate with , they explain everything how it all works . All the guys are super courteous. The job was super clean I was expecting bigger mess . Job came out flawless . Girls in the office also on top of everything kept in touch with me to let me know day by day schedule with the guys . I tell everyone you get what you pay for .
