Would "NOT" recommend Jim White to appraise your home. I decided to sell my parents all brick home, with 1.5 acres and located on Coffeen Lake. I wanted to get an appraisal done on it first. I found a company in Greenville, IL and hired them to do the appraisal. Once done, we were a little surprised with what the appraisal amount came back at, however accepted it. Do not use this companies services. Me and my wife hired Jim White to do an appraisal on our house as a preliminary measure to determine if we wanted to sell. He rescheduled twice and then was late to the appointment. Was unfriendly and was very difficult to work with. Wouldn't answer questions or return calls. In addition, the appraisal took over a week to be completed from the inspection date! Absolutely terrible appraisal company.
