I left this review a couple of times but it keeps disappearing but I feel compelled to say that I was a client of Harold Sclodnick personally many years back and not only did he or his team make calculations errors that resulted in nearly a $2K error in closing costs overpayment out of my pocket , he never took any responsibility or apologized and was inappropriately defensive and denied any wrong doing when confronted on the phone about it. I had an excellent experience with Harold, and would recommend his services for real estate transactions. Harold made the purchase of my home simple and stress-free, he was professional throughout, and his fee was competitive. I enthusiastically recommend him as a real estate lawyer.
We just closed on our home with Harold, it was so smooth from start to finish. As first-time home buyers, we felt Harold was there for our (many) questions and had our best interests in mind. He even put in extra time on our file when something came up during title review - 5/5 highly recommend!
Wow cannot believe how unprofessional Harold Sclodnick is. Doesn't return emails or phone calls despite holding significant funds of ours related to closing. Would never recommend his services to anyone. Despite multiple attempts to contact him he will not respond. Does not advocate for clients whatsoever. Misses important issues. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.
